April 6, 2025: Protests Galore: Hundreds of Thousands Turn Out Around the Country*
On Saturday, there were more than 1300 “Hands Off!” protests held around the country, in cities and towns big and small. In addition to the huge turnout, many protesters reported lots of honks of support from passing motorists, which fueled the excitement of the crowds. April 7, 2025: Simplistic Pollsters Asking about Impeaching Justice Roberts
Recently Matthew was asked by a Democratic pollster if he agreed with the MAGA crowd that Chief Justice John Roberts should be impeached for criticizing the White House occupant for calling for impeachments of judges who disagree with him. Matthew instead gave a more compelling list of the many reasons why Roberts should be impeached. Among them: 1) The Citizens United decision which opened the doors for billionaires taking over our country. 2) His destruction of voting rights laws. 3) Overturning Roe v Wade. 4) Giving unprecedented power to the president by granting him immunity for crimes committed while president. 5) His deliberate delaying of the decision on whether a presidential candidate already convicted of 34 felonies should be held accountable for other crimes such as the attempted coup on January 6 and the theft of hundreds of classified documents.
April 8, 2025: What Is Driving Elon Musk (& co-president Donald Trump)?
An article recently published in the New York Times, titled “The Failed Ideas That Drive Elon Musk,” was written by Jill Lepore, professor of history and law at Harvard and staff writer for the New Yorker.**** She believes Musk gets most of his ideas from his grandfather, Joshua Haldeman, who was a “flamboyant leader of the political movement known as technocracy.” This movement sought to replace democratically elected officials and civil servants—indeed all of government—with an army of scientists and engineers under what they called a technate. The movement declared that “popular voting can be largely dispensed with” as well as the notion that “all men are created free and equal.” He was the national chairman of the antisemitic Social Credit Party. Says Lepore, “Much that Mr. Musk has attempted to do at DOGE can be found in the technocracy manuals of the early 1930’s.”
April 9, 2025: The Ideology Behind Musk, DOGE & “Death Sentence for Millions”
Yesterday we explored the influence of Musk’s grandfather on Musk’s life and beliefs. Today we look at the philosophy of venture capitalist Marc Andressen, who has been active in staffing Musk’s DOGE project in Washington. Among the things he wrote in a manifesto in 2023 was “We believe in greatness….We believe in ambition, aggression persistence, relentlessness—strength.” One of Andressen’s mentors was Filippo Tommaso Marinetti who wrote “The Futurist Manifesto” in 1909, which “glorified violence and masculine virility and opposed liberalism and democracy.” Part of its credo was: We want to exalt movements of aggression… the double march… the slap and the blow with the fist… We want to sing the men at the wheel…We want to demolish museums and libraries, fight morality, feminism…. Ten years later, Marinetti co-wrote “The Fascist Manifesto,” the “founding document” of Mussolini’s party.
April 10, 2025: The Moral Stench from the Trump/Musk Regime Spreads
Most of us feel the darkness of the current Trump/Musk regime spreading over the planet like a poisonous fog. It is not unlike Hildegard’s painting of Satan with “poisoned arrows in his mouth” who sends a “very evil flame” and “poison” into the four corners of the universe. The moral stench has included abandoning Ukraine, giving Israel a blank check to continue to massacre the people of Gaza, rounding up people and sending them to a notorious prison in El Salvador, the explosion of tariffs, etc. Also, with the elimination of USAID, programs such as UN World Food Program, Save the Children, and the UN Population Fund are being terminated. The latter provided food and health services at a refugee camp in Syria.
April 12, 2025: The Good News in Hildegard’s Paintings of Evil
The good news in Hildegard’s painting of Satan is this: In the same painting in which she paints Satan with his “poisonous arrows in his mouth,” she also paints him bound up in chains and being kept down by good people “trampling the same serpent strongly underfoot” who are not affected by “his flames or by his poison.” She calls them “people of God” who are “strong enough to resist being befouled by the devil’s attack.…Living justly, they grasp holiness.” Hildegard warns us that the fires, poisons and plagues of the demonic one find a special place in the marketplace. Everything is for sale “because the devil deceitfully offers his crafts to the people. And those who desire them, purchase them.” How vividly Hildegard paints and preaches about the power of Evil.

We ‘surrender to the Father’, to the eternal love and truth of ‘the Father’. Christ, in love and in soul consciousness ‘surrendered’ to the eternal love and truth of His Father. This is no way is His (our) turning His (our) back on the world. How can we love some, but not extend it to others? Would that not be duality of Spirit?
Did Jesus not love and love and love and pronounce His Father’s Truth to all including those in power? At the same time, did Jesus choose to avoid the egregious suffering of death on the Cross? No He did not as He ‘surrendered’ to the will of His Father, our Father. Jesus said He could have easily called on a legion of Angels to free Him and crush His oppressors. But He did not ‘fight’, rather ‘surrendered’, not to the oppressor, but to ‘His Father’s Greater Will’.
Jesus did not act with dualistic intent, nor did He leave any one of us now or ever ‘as orphans’ in need. We should all contemplate and pray to the Holy Spirit and get a better and complete understanding of what ‘surrender’ is, what to ‘just be’ under the will of ‘the Father’ means and to share in it. Otherwise we would continue to be acting out with evil, dualistic and vengeful intent would we not? — BB.
As we strive to be individually honest inside (to self) and outside of ourselves (to others), we become one. “So the inner, so the outer” (paraphrased from the Gospel of Thomas). We conquer duality (Higher Self – lower self = Self), this is the path of the mystic, never secretly thinking we can lie. This is the path of glorifying the cells of our bodies and is the path through the “narrow gate.” As more of us understand this fundamental principle of our being, the whole will be affected for the good. We are purging. Honesty takes us to the truth of our different physical bodies that house our collective (same) mystical body.
