I will destroy democracy and replace it with an Autocracy or Oligarchy of billionaires who will be beholden to me.
I will give them and the largest corporations they run tax breaks worth trillions of dollars (let others pay for it).
I will do it almost overnight after getting elected as the last president of the United States. As I said in my campaign, no more elections will be necessary.
I will lie non stop until no one cares about fact vs fiction anymore.
I will expel all government workers who do not kneel and adore me.
This includes all FBI personnel (about 6000 from all around the country) who investigated the 1600 people who, on my orders and my lies about my losing the 2020 election (which I knew I lost) charged the nation’s capitol in a violent fashion on January 6 to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. And left 172 policemen wounded and seven people dead.
I will fire all DOJ lawyers who investigated the same event.
I will appoint people to run major departments who do not have experience in running large government departments with hundreds of thousands of employees so that they will fail and the government will fail and all will know that only I can fix it.
I will appoint people who have one talent: Complete obedience to me.
No conscience beyond that is required.
No value system beyond that is required.
I will require no-conscience obedience from all congressmen and women in my party and they will surrender to my every declaration.
I will shut down aid for other countries from USAID that focuses on emergencies in the poorest countries of the world such as assistance against the AIDS virus that has prevented 26 million deaths..
I will slow down or shut down aid for Americans including SNAP and Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, school lunches and public education.
I will make sure hatred prevails as a spirit that permeates my government and all of America.
I will appoint a head of FBI who will go after my enemies.
I will appoint a head of DOJ who goes after my enemies.
I will see to it that the civil rights laws of 60 years ago, already shredded by Chief Justice Roberts’ and his court, are completely diminished to almost nothing.
I will elevate the architect of Project 2025 to my cabinet of billionaires if I care to and no one can stop me.
I will dare SCOTUS or other courts to come after me.
I will release all prisoners—especially the dangerous ones who can make up my militia after being released from prison.
I will expel all prosecutors who dared prosecute me or any of my fellow partisans for breaking the law and give them no time or space to offer legal objections.
I will destroy NPR and PBS by undermining and threatening their sponsors–just like my mentor Viktor Orban has done so successfully in dismantling democracy in Hungary. Good for him!
I will threaten other news agencies by suing large public ones like CBS.
I will kill as many environmental laws as I possibly can—to hell with Climate Change and the future of the planet. Thus I will fulfill my promise to fossil fuel companies I made during the election. Climate Change is a hoax. Drill, baby, drill!
I will expel millions of immigrants and their families and lock them up in Guantanamo Bay prison until they are gone.
I will expel all Palestinians from Gaza and build a resort there.
I will link up with the richest man in the world to delete the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
I will render Congress a rubber stamp and end the notion that there are three branches of government.
I will dare the 90 million voters who did not vote in November and those 73 million who voted against me to do something about this.

The Hate Weeking continues- my calendar is stuck on 1984.
I never thought our America could fall, and become unrecognizable. These are terrifying times. Will goodness and justice prevail? Is it possible to stop the momentum of Trump and his followers? We know it is, and EVERYONE will be needed to do this. I pray for the spiritual warrior to be awakened in everyone. I pray that love for our country, each other and our planet will be stoked by this Trump war he’s put upon America, and that justice will prevail. Each of us has some gift that is needed for this to happen. I beg you, it’s time for ALL of us to wake up and speak out unrelentingly, in whatever fashion we can. We owe this to ourselves, our earth and future generations.
I will spread fear, confusion and chaos because I can.
Dear DM people,
This morning in a meditation I received a vision of being held under water, not to kill me, but to oppress me. I struggled to free myself and finally bounded up to the surface to fill my lungs with life-giving air. Free. So light, so relieved. Then it hit me, this was metaphor for my life these days. News, pod-casts, emails, conversations are holding me down, constricting me, smothering me. It doesn’t matter which side. I had been being defined and controlled by someone else’s world, not mine. My release was immediate. I will not be defined by someone else’s world. I will work with determination and spiritual guidance, to live my life in the world I choose. Delight in living, impartiality (loving it all, no matter what), magnetism toward others (that they may seek a life like this, too), and most of all, authenticity to who I really am – I AM is my God, none other.
My greatest desire to join others in this pursuit. Susan
Imagine how those who are actually being oppressed by the actions of Trump, his MAGA supporters, by Putin, Orban, by “Christian” nationalists etc. and are not just hearing the news must feel? It does matter which side, as those actually being oppressed will tell you, it matters very much. Yes, we need to find joy- connect with God, others, with all of creation, but we also need to be non-violent warriors. If Martin Luther King had followed your view, black Americans would still be segregated. Let us help each other find the courage to stand up against cruelty, oppression, and destruction, together.
Thank you Matthew and DM team for summarizing our worst fears about how Trump, his cult MAGA followers, his sycophant Republican congressional followers, the extremely conservative Unsupreme Court, and greedy billionaires like Musk are already trying to destroy our democratic institutions. May God’s Spirit of Truth, Peace, Justice, Strength, Compassion… be with our congressional leaders, institutions, social leaders, and citizens who are resisting this dangerous attack on our Democracy to form an autocratic dictatorship under Trump!!!

What would I add to what the anti-Christ would do to subvert not only Democracy, but also the inherent goodness of people? I would use a tactic of war to make people feel lost, confused, ineffective, and incompetent–a tactic called “resilience targeting”. Oh, wait. They are already doing that. Well, but they are already doing all the things, Matthew, that you have listed. It’s important that we understand what this is. It’s working. I am embarrassed to say, and I say it with grave disappointment. Although I use all my spiritual practices to raise my spirits during the day, my despair arises while I am sleeping. I awaken most mornings feeling envy for friends who have died. Call it putsch, call it coup, as Heather Cox Richardson described in a recent message–appointing Musk and his boys is a very effective end run around the Constitution and the responsibilities of Congress. The Orange Menace can simply blame the destruction on him and claim he knew nothing of what was going on; if he had to bring these issues before Congress, on the other hand, he might get some opposition. We can hope that there are enough members of Congress that will put the brakes on, but it will take a concerted grassroots action to flood the phones/e-mails to these who are supposed to represent us. It might not be effective, but it is worth a try, and every single one of us can do it. Let’s not wait until we are spiritually pure to act.

Today’s Daily Meditation hit it all! You covered everything on the agenda of this wanna-be dictator had planned for the end-goal of destroying democracy. The photo of Donald DUMP sitting next to Musk captures evil perfectly.
Please write a meditation about the power of PRAYER-any kind of prayer- to offset this daily destruction of our precious democracy. Your words are a treasure in this time of insanity.
I will embrace evil with Love in the Knowledge that all things are transitory in the Eyes of God, thus shutting out fear and joining the Buddha to throw back my head and laugh. In the words of Anthony de Mello, “All is well.”

We should not be afraid of using the word EVIL
Manifested in the last few weeks, these newly organized Angels from Hell (Hell’s Angels) and their leader, the Devil’s Advocate/Agent, TRUMP have give the world a real application of this word EVIL.
The power of this EVIL has worked successfully on the minds of those MAGA, Catholic, Women who chose not to see it coming and followed their partners and others down this uninformed voting trail.
They knew better but sacrificed their families and now their nation.
FOR WHAT?
I pray that our Canadian mothers will be better informed and wiser. as we will now move up to be the oldest Democratic experiment on earth.
