Actions People are Taking to Combat Today’s Purge, Coup & Democracide

Yesterday I received a response to my DM on “What a President Would Say if He Were the Anti-Christ” and I want to share it here.

This is unusual for sure, but so is our situation in America at this moment when a coup is underway in our government—a moment far more incendiary than January 6–though of the same vintage surely. 

The letter and its contents bear good news because they show actions people can and are taking.  I have great respect for the Indivisible Movement mentioned below that bears all the marks of a community of spiritual warriors, such as we have been meditating on lately.

Good Morning, Matthew and Team,

I read your incredible reflection this morning and printed out the attached for distribution, only with your permission!!!! Your list is exactly what Project 2025 promised, and Trump, the puppet, is fulfilling the billionaires’ dream.

Tomorrow night I’ll be attending an Indivisible Meeting on Cape Cod and would like to distribute the attached to members. We need to spread the word all across our country!

A friend also sent the Privacy Act of 1974 that individuals can use to file a complaint with Treasury. That I’m able to distribute.….

Blessings on all you’re doing to preserve our democracy, our Mother Earth, and world peace.

SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY

If you are concerned over Donald Trump giving an unelected individual, Elon Musk, access to your personal information as maintained by the Treasury Department, you have rights and can take action. Trump is enacting a coup against the United States of America.

The Privacy Act of 1974 states: No agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of the individual to whom the record pertains…….

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am making a civil liberties complaint under the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 USC, 552a. It has been brought to my attention that Elon Musk and his associates, under the guise of a directive of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) (an IT office in the White House), have acquired access to Treasury Department Records in Systems of Records as defined in the Act. As an individual covered by the Act. I believe that there may be records about me in the Treasury Department systems, and I am concerned for the following reasons:

1.    Elon Musk is not an elected official.

2.    Even if Musk were an elected official, the System of Records Notices (SORNs) governing the Treasury Department Privacy Act systems do not allow for disclosure to Musk and his associates per the Routine Uses.

3.    Disclosure of personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive personally identifiable information (SPII) to Musk and his associates would be an unauthorized disclosure and therefore breach of information.

The Treasury Department must (1) quickly investigate what Privacy Act records that Musk and his associates have unlawfully accessed, (2) reveal to the public what unauthorized disclosures were made, (3) stop further access, (4) force any files acquired by Musk and his associates to be returned and/or permanently destroyed, and (5) seek criminal penalties against Musk and his associates for violations of the Act.
